Jambi, a province on the east coast of the central part of Sumatera Island, is a famous region in ancient literature.
The name of the country is often referred to in the inscriptions as well as the Chinese news.
It is thought that there are three ancient Malay kingdoms in Jambi, Koying (3rd century AD), Tupo (3rd century AD) and Kantoli (5th century).

Pedestrian Bridge is a bridge to pedestrians with a winding shape and stretched over the river Batanghari.
At the end of the bridge is Gentala Arasy Tower which is a museum about the history of Islamic development in Jambi city.
Besides the museum, here is also a culinary center and hang out in the afternoon and evening.
There are also plenty of boats to walk the river Batanghari.
